Thank you for providing such a detailed evaluation of the systems I’ve seen thus far!
Last week, I ordered a Big Berky from Amazon. I had to watch a YouTube video to find out how to set everything up, which took about 30 minutes. But it’s great after that. The steel containers are strong, and the filter cleans the water better than any other system I’ve tried.

I often wonder about those vending machines that fill your 5 gallon bottles with filtered water that costs 39 cents a gallon commonly found in grocery stores . there is also water shops dedicated to fill your bottles, sell bottles, water coolers, etc and they are a bit cheaper like 30 cents a gallon. Are those the best or better than buying your own water filtration system under sink or on countertop? As long as I am still young and able to haul heavy 5 gallon bottles ( I use 3 gallon bottles) with water softener, am I buying the best drinking water money can buy ? what about water delivery service that costs considerably more, of course?

I purchased a Big Berky last week from Amazon. I needed to watch a YouTube video to figure out how to set up, which took maybe 30 min to do. But after that, it’s perfect. The steel containers are sturdy and the filter really does clean the water better than any other system I have used.

I do not get the buildup of lime around the kitchen sink or the shower walls any longer. The water tastes as good at every faucet in the house. Previously only the water from the refrigerator would be Aquasana good, because of the built in filter. Installation was without the pro installation kit. This being my preference. See photo attached.
