I’m haven’t gotten my Berkey but am contemplating of adding Bintochan and Bone Char to the system. I am concern with Alumina leeching Aluminium. Do you think that is possible granted that you have tried all 3? Berkey, Bone Char and Binchotan.

In reply to ruby. Apparently it cannot remove fluoride due to the molecule structure. Would be great if someone has done more test on this to see what the exact outcome is.

In reply to ruby. It might remove fluoride, since it absorbs many contaminants -- but I have seen any tests on this.

Charcoal will remove lead from bathwater. It probably needs to sit in the water for at least 30 minutes. You can leave it in the tub — you may want to rinse it off afterwards. You can also get a bath filter — https://reactual.com/home-and-garden/toiletries/best-bath-filters.html.

I use a 1/8 cup of Vitamin C per bath. You can certainly use it with bubble bath. I also add Epsom salt to my baths.
