The Brightest Flashlight Powered By AA Batteries

Brightest Flashlight AA Batteries

The brightest flashlight that uses AA batteries is the Nitecore Caveman EA81, which shines at 2150 lumens. It takes eight AA batteries and costs about $120.

It’s waterproof to IPX-8 Standard (1.5 meters) and impact resistant to 1.5 meters. It has a micro-textured reflector and it uses the quad-die CREE X-LAMP XHP50 LED.

The Nitecore Caveman EA81 is available on Amazon for about $120.

I recommend powering this flashlight with low-discharge rechargeable AA batteries.

  1. OK so this is an OLD post. You can now get one 7 years later for a fraction of that cost that only uses 3 AA batteries and has 5000 lumens, uses the cree T6. Best of all, under $30. Get a couple sets of rechargeable batteries for spares, and you’re all set. Or, heck just buy 4 for the price of this thing in the article.
