Here is information on the one still made in the USA :
Weber Charcoal Grills, Genesis LX & Summit Grills Are made in America
Several Weber models are still made in America as of 2018. Weber primarily makes their charcoal and portable series in the U.S. as of 2018. These Weber models include:
Weber Performance Deluxe on Amazon
Weber Original Kettle Premium (low to mid-range charcoal)
Weber Performance Deluxe (mid-range charcoal)
Weber Smokey Mountain Smoker (mid-range smoker)
Weber Go-Anywhere (low-end portable charcoal)
Weber Master-Touch (mid-range charcoal)
Weber Spirit (discontinued)
Weber Genesis (discontinued)
Weber Q Series (mid-range portable gas)
Weber Charcoal Grills (new models) – Weber’s new, improved 2018 charcoal grills are made in America (with globally sourced components), and it shows. Build quality for all Weber charcoal options is extremely high. Weber’s charcoal grills are EASILY built to last 10-15 years with normal use. Additional improvements over old models include better handle quality, a new top adjustable vent handle that makes it easy to change temps when the grill is hot, side handles that have two extra clips for grilling tools, and finally, the wheel covers show improved build quality.
are weber spirit grills made in america
Weber Spirit E310 on Amazon
Weber Spirit (old model) – The old Weber Spirit models were manufactured in the U.S. Many people argue the old Spirit models had better build quality vs the new Spirit II’s. For us? We don’t see it. The old Spirit models weren’t without their problems, with old Spirit models flaking, losing heat signatures after a few months, etc. The most important thing to remember? Weber’s warranty. Weber has exceptional customer service, and they’ll replace any and all faulty pieces under their warranty.
Weber Genesis (old model) – Like the old Spirit models, Weber’s old Genesis line was made in the U.S.A too. We echo the same sentiments from the old Spirit line as we do with the Genesis. We like old Genesis models a lot, but outsourcing production to China doesn’t necessarily mean it’s a worse grill. Compare and contrast features, read Genesis II reviews on Amazon, and make an intelligent decision for yourself.
Weber Kettle Grill is looking awesome. My experience with Corelle dinnerware sets from shopworldkitchen.com is great. I am using them to bake, serve and store.
