In our “Buy It For Life” posts we feature products that are built to last a lifetime. We also give preference to products that are very durable, are warrantied for life, and are made in the U.S.
The 920 Pressure Cooker has been made in Wisconsin since 1930 by the Wisconsin Aluminum Foundry. This cooker is renowned for its ability to endure a lifetime of use. They are built with heavy-duty cast aluminum and feature no gaskets, which tend to fail eventually. Instead, the cooker has a precision machined, “metal-to-metal” sealing system. Interestingly, the 920 Pressure Cooker is routinely used as an autoclave (sterilizer) by the scientific community.
We could find any warranty information for this product, but I have emailed the company, and will update this post when I receive more information.
The 920 Pressure Cooker is available on Amazon for about $200.
